Meet Steph Archer

About me
Hello! My name is Steph and I am the 2026 National President of UN Youth Australia. Based in Brisbane, I am in my fourth year of a Bachelor of Arts/Laws at the University of Queensland, working towards a career in public policy development. I have previously served as the Queensland Divisional President in 2025 and Chief Communications Officer in 2024.
I am a passionate advocate for youth civics engagement and my work in UN Youth encourages young people to use their voices to champion UN values. I am especially focused on increasing the organisation’s advocacy capacity through its involvement in climate consultation. My past work has also focused on including the perspectives of regional young people through expanding access to leadership and development opportunities.
Outside of UN Youth, I enjoy spending my free time reading the classics, coaching debating, and hanging out with my friends.
