Junior Leadership Summit

NSW Exclusive Program |

The Junior Leadership Summit (JLS) is an engaging introduction to UN Youth, designed specifically for younger students eager to develop their leadership, problem-solving, and advocacy skills. This summit provides a strong foundation in these key areas, ensuring that delegates gain the confidence and knowledge needed to become active changemakers. While JLS follows a similar structure to other UN Youth summits, its content is carefully adapted to suit a younger audience, prioritizing leadership development over complex discussions on international affairs. Through interactive workshops and hands-on activities, delegates explore the fundamentals of leadership and collaboration in an accessible and inspiring environment.

Unlike our flagship events like State Conference, JLS offers a unique approach to youth engagement by replacing traditional Model UN debates with skill-focused sessions. By fostering an inclusive and supportive learning experience, JLS encourages young leaders to step forward with confidence, equipping them with necessary leadership skills early on, which can then be applied to our events for senior years.

Immersive Education Workshops

Immerse yourself in a series of engaging educational workshops led by seasoned experts in international relations and diplomacy. These sessions are meticulously crafted to equip you with practical knowledge and critical thinking skills essential for tackling complex global challenges.

Interactive Problem Solving Activities

Embark on a journey through simulated international crises, where quick thinking and strategic decision-making are paramount. Work alongside fellow delegates to navigate intricate scenarios, assess diverse perspectives, and develop innovative solutions that address multifaceted global challenges. These activities are designed to simulate the complexities of real-world diplomacy and crisis management.

Social Activities

Forge lasting friendships and expand your professional network during our vibrant social activities. From chaotic games to discos these events provide an opportunity to connect with like-minded peers from across states and territories. Build meaningful relationships and celebrate the diversity of perspectives within our community.
