Our Governing Documents

UN Youth Australia upholds the highest safety standards. This page outlines our child safety, wellbeing, privacy, and conduct policies, along with governing documents that guide how our events are run, ensuring they are safe and enjoyable for young people.

Federal Welfare Policy

UN Youth Australia and all of our state/territory divisions follow our unified Federal Welfare Policy, which outlines our Child Safety Policy in every Australian State and Territory. The policy complies with the National Framework on Creating Safe Environments for Children, and works to ensure our activities are safe and supportive environments for all participants. You can access the policy below.

Questions and Complaints

The best person to talk about our administration of welfare and child safety at our events is the Divisional/National Welfare Superviser or the Head of Welfare dedicated to the event (usually overnight events only). If you have any question or compliants about child safety or welfare, please contact us at welfareadviser@unyouth.org.au.
