UN Youth Australia’s National Conference is an opportunity for exceptional young people in years 10 to 12, from across Australia and New Zealand to come together to explore international issues.
National Conference will be attended by 80 high-achieving students selected from around Australia and New Zealand.Throughout the weeklong conference, students will hear from experts in international relations, participate in interactive workshops, and advocate for change in their own communities and the world. Furthermore, National Conference provides participants the opportunity to form connections with other passionate individuals, that will be invaluable in their studies and future careers. The skills they learn and the friendships they make during the Conference are key in facilitating the personal development of these young people.
The Conference includes students from every state and territory as well from New Zealand.
National Conference is held each year in July in a different Australian capital city, run entirely by UN Youth volunteers from that city. In 2023, the Conference will be held in Perth.
