The Board of UN Youth Australia · Independent Board Director

Tanya joined the Board as an Independent Director this year because she’s passionate about UN Youth’s purpose, and firmly believes the importance of empowering and enabling young people with confidence and the right skills to engage in global issues. She’s excited about driving progress against the 2021-2023 Strategic Plan, particularly around exploring ways to improve the organisation’s financial sustainability, as well as making the organisation’s programs more accessible to a greater diversity of young people.

Outside of UN Youth, Tanya holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Co-op) from UNSW Sydney and is a strategy consultant at Strategy&, PwC, where she works on strategic problems across a diverse range of industries. Tanya has experience in market growth opportunities, market sizing and assessments, operating model design, and business model feasibility analysis and is passionate about using her skills in pro-bono consulting work.
