As the CFO, Stuarts’s primarily responsible for the management of the UN Youth’s finances. His role involves the preparation of monthly management reports for review by Finance & Audit Committee; oversight and development of National Finance Committee; preparation and ongoing review of the National Operating Budget; and assisting Chief Domestic Operations (CDO) Officer, Chief International Operations Officer (CIO) and convenors with budgeting.
Stuart’s Message:
My name is Stuart (he/him) and I am originally from Adelaide, however I now live in Sydney for work and Uni. I have been involved with UN Youth for just over a year now, and I am currently the Chief Financial Officer for 2023. My current role involves me managing the operational finances of the national organisational, as well as preparing financial statements and analysis for the monthly board meetings. Outside of UN Youth I am studying at UNSW and am quite involved within my residential college. I also love visiting the beaches around Sydney with Coogee being a personal favourite. I can’t wait for the year ahead and to continue to work with so many amazing people within UN Youth
