National · Chief Youth Representative Officer
Nick is currently studying a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics at the Australian National University.
Nick has been involved in UN Youth since he first tried Evatt in 2013, which he repeated in the next two years. However, his love of the organisation particularly grew after participating in the 2014 Pacific Project. After a year of facilitating in 2016, Nick served first as our ACT Finance Director and then as our ACT Education Director. Currently, Nick serves on our National Executive as Chief Youth Representation Officer. Having overseen the second half of the 2018 Youth Representative program with Amos Washington, he’s now working with our 2019 Youth Representative, Kareem El-Ansary.
Outside of UN Youth, Nick works in a factory and serves on the ACT Youth Advisory Council.
Nick Rates: youth empowerment, the Nintendo Switch, and lomg doggos.
Nick Hates: smashed avocado and feta (what’s the big deal?), when you peel off a sticker and it doesn’t come off properly, and washing clothes with the tissues still in the pockets.
