Niamh Callinan

New South Wales · Director of Communications

When did she get involved with UN Youth: Niamh’s first experience with UN Youth was in 2013 as a delegate competing in the Evatt Competition. Niamh became a facilitator in 2019 and has since facilitated at the NSW Evatt Grand Final. Niamh was the Chief Judge of the 2019 Voice Competition.

Why is she involved with UN Youth: Niamh is continually reminded that UN Youth is a wonderful organisation; an organisation that inspires young people to take on the national and global challenges of the day, empowers them to learn more about the world around them and ultimately, encourages them to step outside their comfort zones and grow as people and as leaders. It is for this reason why Niamh is involved with UN Youth. In her role as the 2020 NSW Director of Communications, Niamh hopes to convey the benefits of being involved in UN Youth, whether that be as a delegate or as a facilitator. Niamh hopes to build consistent messaging that demonstrates the value UN Youth NSW’s programs for all that get involved.
