Nell Crossett

As CHRO, Nell’s primary responsibilities include delivering the maintenance and implementation of volunteer training resources and programs, managing UN Youth’s child protection and welfare compliance, as well as developing initiative to support the health and wellbeing of all volunteers at UN Youth. This year, Nell wants to overhaul how training is completed within the organisation and explore how she can make it a more proactive process, as well as explore how we can better our welfare practices and policies to reflect our status as a child safe organisation.
Nell first became involved with UN Youth in 2014 as a delegate and has kept hanging around for eons. Since becoming a facilitator, she has convened both Divisional and National Events, sat on the Victorian Executive as President and has attended numerous National Activities in the roles of facilitator, welfare officer and judge!
Outside of UN Youth, she is about to finish her Bachelor of Arts at Monash University, having double majored in film studies and sociology. She is currently planning to begin her Master of Teaching at the beginning of 2022.
