Murray attended his first UN Youth event in high school when he attended the annual Cairns Conference. His experience at the event inspired him to join UN Youth Australia as a facilitator when he started university, and he has been involved ever since. Although Murray was originally a volunteer in Queensland, he has recently moved to Canberra for work.
