Queensland · Operations Director
Meg is studying a double Bachelor’s degree in Laws (Honours) and Government / International Relations at Griffith University —majoring in International Relations and specializing in International Law. She hopes to work in Human Rights Law in the future with a special focus on Children’s Rights.
She joined the organization in 2020, the same year she moved to Brisbane for her studies. Meg thought it was a great opportunity to get involved in the community and get to know some new like-minded people.
While still new to the organization, she can’t wait to facilitate many upcoming and exciting events. Meg has previous experience volunteering with the French Amnesty International Youth group where she organized and supervised events in her local community such as Write for Rights.
Meg is currently serving as Operations Director to the Queensland Division. As Operations Director, she is responsible for overseeing and supporting convenors and facilitators for events such as State Conference, Evatt, and Voice. She will also be supporting the QLD leg of the Youth Representative tour.
