New South Wales · Director of Communications
When did you get involved with UN Youth? I first became involved as a delegate by competing in Evatt from 2015 to 2017, and also attended the NSW State Conference in 2018. Since being trained in November 2018, I have attended as a facilitator and photographer at various summits, school visits and competitions, including the Evatt NSW Grand Final. I was appointed as Media Officer in 2020, which allowed me to develop interest and relevant skills for the Communications portfolio.
Why are you involved with UN Youth? As both a delegate and facilitator, I have been so inspired by the many passionate and genuine people I have met through the organisation. I appreciate how UN Youth provides young people with various opportunities to lead, collaborate, build confidence and share their own stories. As Director of Communications this year, I hope to contribute towards UN Youth’s strength in encouraging young people to approach important global issues with an open mind and to believe in their own ability to make change.
