Jane Kennedy

In 2017 Jane graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of International Development before commencing a post-graduate Doctor of Medicine at the University of Wollongong. She aspires to work in Australia and overseas, collaborating with marginalised communities while working to shape international development and health policy.

She has received wide recognition for her involvement in community service and advocacy, having worked with organisations such as World Vision, the Jane Goodall Institute, Girl Rising and the Australian Medical Students Association. In 2015, Jane was awarded the International Zonta Young Women in Public Affairs Award and represented Australia at Jane Goodall’s International Youth Conference in the UK. In 2017, she was named one of the Herald Sun’s 50 Women You Need to Know and worked in the areas of youth health and development with the United Nations Population Fund in Jakarta.

Jane is passionate about providing all young Australians with opportunities to take action on the issues they’re most passionate about, and enabling them to create a better world for all people and our shared environment.
