New South Wales · Director of Finance
When did you become involved with UN Youth? I first heard about UN Youth from my friends who attended a NSW State Conference, and the following year in 2017 I competed as a high school delegate in the Evatt competition and absolutely loved it. I became a facilitator in 2019 and facilitated the NSW Evatt Grand final in the same year, and was honoured to have been chosen for the role as the NSW Director of Finance for 2020.
Why are you involved with UN Youth? I believe that UN Youth is an incredible organisation which affords young people countless opportunities to step out of their comfort zone and develop their skills in leadership. I think that UN Youth’s events provide a fantastic outlet to meet like-minded, passionate young people who are interested in making a difference, and equips them with the skills to do so. Continuing on as the Director of Finance for 2021, I would like to diversify our revenue streams, improve the administration of the organisation and attempt to foster greater financial strength after COVID-19 to ensure UN Youth remains accessible and sustainable.
