Hiep Do

Victoria · Programs Director

The role of the Programs Director is to coordinate and oversee all of the programs run in Victoria including State Conference and all of the Summits.

Hiep is currently in his second/third year of an Education Degree at Latrobe University. He’s doing it Part-time as he’s not very good at the whole uni thing, but also likes to keep himself busy with multiple jobs. He hopes in the future to empower young people in one way or another.

Hiep became involved in UN Youth as a delegate in 2011 when he attended State Conference (he’s old!), and then came back as a facilitator in 2016. In 2018, he was a divisional facilitator for the Victorian delegation to Evatt National Finals.

Outside UN Youth, you’ll often see him on camp somewhere laughing and having fun, working at one of his multiple jobs, playing soccer or badminton, or seeing friends and family, albeit briefly.

Rates: A good vegie lasagne, Criminal Minds, empowering youth, being on camp, good banter, laughing

Hates: doing nothing, bad banter, people who walk slow, replying to messages
