Cormac Power

The Board of UN Youth Australia · Chair of the Human Resources Committee

A few months after moving to Western Australia from Ireland in 2012, Cormac attended his first UN Youth event and has not looked back since. A fan of all things education, Cormac has spent much of his time with UN Youth writing far more workshops and resolutions than any one man really should.

Cormac recently graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in International Relations and Economics, including an exchange semester at Tsinghua University in Beijing as a Westpac Asian Exchange Scholar. During this time, he served as the National People-to-People Director of the Australia-China Youth Association and attempted to improve his questionable Mandarin.

In his free time, Cormac can be found drinking copious amounts of tea, ranting about North Korea or attempting to learn languages. He has at various points attempted to study everything from French to Farsi, with wildly varied success.
