Azam is Head of Development and works with the national leadership team to drive proposals and manage strategic partnerships with key stakeholders across government, private and non-profit sectors. Azam is particularly interested in relationship mapping and connecting UN Youth’s wide alumni network with existing members, aged between 16 and 25, to create valuable mentoring opportunities in areas of personal and professional development.
Outside of this role, Azam works in PwC Australia’s Real Estate practice and was recently appointed to the CEO’s Inaugural People Council as one of four Sydney representatives, working alongside the executive board to influence meaningful cultural change and inform future strategy impacting over 8,000 staff members. Azam is actively involved with PwC’s Social Impact practice, specifically their Green Team, and is passionate about advancing progress on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the decade ahead.
