Annika Alvarez

Annika is studying a Bachelor of International Studies at the University of Queensland – majoring in both International Relations and Spanish. She is a keen volunteer with a strong interest in education and youth representation, having previously worked tutoring refugees at UQ and publishing a report highlighting the importance of experiential learning.
She has been involved with UN Youth for 2 years and has facilitated a variety of events. She has also taken on multiple organizational and leadership positions from Voice to State Conference.
Annika is currently the divisional president for Queensland. As president, Annika is responsible for overseeing the direction of the organization and supporting the QLD executive whilst acting as their bridge to the National body. She is also responsible for representing UN Youth to external partners among other things.
