Victoria Regional Director
Closes: 24 November
UN Youth Victoria is looking for a Regional Director to join its 2021 Executive!
UN Youth Victoria is the Victorian division of UN Youth Australia, a national youth-led organisation that aims to educate and empower young Australians on global issues facing the world. Our broad range of sector-leading peer-education programs educate over 15,000 young Australians each year from across every state and territory.
The Regional Director is responsible for improving UN Youth’s engagement with regional students and schools. Their broad responsibilities will include communicating with schools for events, creating partnerships with regional organisations and collecting data on regional participation in our events. The main event overseen by the Regional Director is the Regional Road Trip. This weeklong outreach event will require budgeting and content oversight, as well as liaising between the Convenor/Organising Committee and the Directors.
This is a volunteer role with an average time commitment of 10 hours per week. No prior experience with UN Youth, or knowledge of the United Nations, is required. Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years of age.
