Accounts Receivable Officer

UN Youth Western Australia is seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Officer. This is an exciting volunteer opportunity to play a pivotal role in managing the financial inflows of our organisation and ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments.

As a youth organisation, this role is only open to people aged 25 or under. Applications are open to those who reside within and outside of WA.

As an Accounts Receivable Officer, you will be responsible for preparing and issuing invoices accurately and on time and following up on any discrepancies. You will monitor customer accounts for incoming payments, reconcile payments received with issued invoices, and maintain up-to-date records of payments and outstanding invoices. You will also communicate with schools, individuals and other organisations regarding their accounts, payments, and any billing issues.

UN Youth WA utilises a combination of online applications to manage our finances, including Xero & Stripe. Training & upskilling on these platforms will be provided.

Time Commitment: 

  • Approximately 3 hours per week of finance-related work which can be conducted in a flexible manner.
