UN Youth Australia is seeking talented young people to join our national committees
Interested in becoming more involved with the national organisation? Want to channel your skills into exciting projects? Keen to learn something new? If yes to any/all of the above, you’re the right fit for one of our National Committees!
Applications are now open for UN Youth Australia’s National Committees – consisting of four separate Committees, Education, Communications, Finance. Information about the Youth Representative Liaison Committee will be released soon.
Applications close 11:59pm AEDT 22 December 2018. Notification of the success of your application will be given by email.
National Education Committee
In the role, you will be working with the Chief Education Officer to create educational materials for our events, including workshops, Model UN resolutions and Interactive Problem Solving activities.
This is an excellent opportunity for any volunteer wishing to convert their facilitation experience into greater writing and research skills, while also driving our educational activities all over Australia.
National Communications Committee
In the role, you will be working with the Chief Communications Officer to create communications materials for the organisation, alongside creating future innovative ways to connect with young people across the country.
This is an excellent opportunity for those wishing to up-skill in the field of communications, while working on real projects connecting our organisation to the wider community.
National Finance Committee
In the role, you will be working with the Chief Financial Officer to run the finances of UN Youth’s national organisation – a company with a revenue above $700,000.
This is a unique opportunity for those wishing to up-skill in finance skills whilst helping manage the finances of one of Australia’s largest youth-led not for profits.
