Meet your 2013 Youth Representative to the UN
We started the search in September last year, the response was overwhelming – 300 applications from extraordinary young Australians. We took our time to get to know them, meet some of them, hear their ideas.
We can now share the good news. Meet your 2013 Australian Youth Representative to the United Nations, Adam Pulford!
Adam, 23, grew up in Darwin but now lives in Melbourne. He comes from an impressive background of leadership positions in the Oaktree Foundation, UN Youth Australia and PROJECT ROCKIT – a youth-led anti-bullying organisation. Through his work with MAKEPOVERTYHISTORY, Generate and the recent Roadtrip to End Poverty, among others, Adam has seen firsthand the passion and power that young people have to create change in their communities.
Adam begins touring the country in May, visiting young Australians in every Australian state and territory. He then takes those voices to the United Nations in New York with the Australian delegation in October.
We’re hitting the ground running, and we need your help.
Will you join Adam as he tours the country to discover what is most important to young Australians?
