About Voice

How would you solve the problems of today’s world? In UN Youth’s Voice, choose an issue that matters to you, and tell us how you’d change the world. For more information click here.

Welcome to the Voice SA!

Voice is more than a public speaking competition. Participants in years 7-10 will have the chance to propose solutions to pressing global issues that matter to them, and answer questions to defend the feasibility of their solution.

Topics will be released to participants two weeks before the competition. Students in year 7 – 8 (junior division) will have four minutes to present their solution, and students in year 9 – 10 (senior division) will have five minutes. All students will be asked two questions by the judges about their solution, and will have two minutes to answer them.

This year, South Australia will be offering Voice in a central hub as well as at SA schools in the last week of Term 3 and the first two weeks of Term 4. If you are an educator or community leader and would like to express your interest in hosting a Voice round at your school or community space, follow this link.

We hope to see you there!
