State Conference 2017 Is Here!
UN Youth Victoria’s State Conference brings 150 students from around Victoria to discuss the issues which affect young people today and tomorrow. At State Conference, students will have the opportunity to get involved in discussions, debates and critical analysis of global issues, as well as meet like-minded young people who have a passion for global change. The four-day residential conference is open to all students in years 10 to 12 in 2017 and will be held over the Labour Day weekend [10-13 March].
The 2017 State Conference theme is Sustaining Our World, which will allow students to look at issues such as sustainable development, international aid and non-government organisations, as well as how young people can engage in a global conversation about development.
State Conference is a unique opportunity for all students to get involved in the international discussion about sustainable development, as well as meet new people from around the state who also have a passion for international change.’
The United Nations Youth Victoria State Conference is a three-night residential camp taking place from the 10th-13th of March at the Lord Somers Camp. It is run for young people by young people and is open to all students in Years 10-12. State Conference aims to provide them with the opportunity to network with other bright, like-minded people from all across Victoria.
