Volunteer with us!

Passionate about global issues and social justice? Get involved as a UN Youth Australia facilitator!

UN Youth Australia is always looking for passionate and engaged youth who have left school to help us facilitate our events. If you are knowledgeable about foreign affairs, politics, Model UN debating, teaching or education then sharing that knowledge and passion through facilitation can be an extremely rewarding experience.

Becoming a facilitator gives you the opportunity to work with high school students in your state, visit schools, attend conferences and competitions, travel interstate, and lead overseas tours to East Timor, Europe, the Middle East, the United States or New Zealand. It will also connect you to a national network of over 500 active volunteers who work to educate more than 15,000 young Australians every year.

If you want to get involved, you can fill in an expression of interest form to attend a training session here. Once you have received your facilitator training, you will soon be able to start volunteering at our event!

If you have any questions feel free to get in touch with our Human Resources Director, Juliette Cross, at juliette.cross@unyouth.org.au.
