State Conference 2017

Developing Human Rights in a Developing World

State Conference is our premier educational event.

State Conference is a long weekend of educational workshops, informative and inspiring guest speakers and stimulating model UN debate.

Perhaps even better though is the chance to spend time with over 50 other young people from right around Tasmania. Open to all students in grades 10-12, this is a fantastic way to meet people who are interested in global issues just like you!

This year’s theme for the conference is Developing Human Rights in a Developing World. Over the weekend, delegates will explore not only the founding principles of universal human rights, but their development and context over the tumultuous 21st century so far.
