The Student Ambassadors Program is a unique opportunity for South Australian students in Years 9-12 to develop key leadership, teamwork and communication skills, as well as meet new friends and mentors.
As an Ambassador, you will represent UN Youth SA at your school, acting as a point of contact for your peers. You will learn about the ‘behind-the-scenes’ of UN Youth, and be placed on a path to becoming a volunteer with us when you graduate.
Your primary role will be to promote UN Youth SA events, encouraging other students at your school to become global citizens and give back to the community. Ambassadors will do this through a range of ways, such as disseminating information about our events, helping us organise in-school workshops and providing feedback on our programs. Regular get-togethers and workshops are held to brief Ambassadors on new campaigns, run skill sessions and provide an opportunity to socialise with other Ambassadors.
