About the Program

The School Ambassadors Program (SAP) is an initiative of UN Youth QLD dedicated to providing young people with a greater awareness of current international issues and to equipping you with essential leadership and life skills. It is open to students from Years 9-12. The program takes pride in being the largest year-long program, and the first SAP program within UN Youth Australia.

Applications for 2019 are opening soon!

The School Ambassadors Program involves monthly sessions where participants gather to discuss and debate issues of global importance. The sessions range from field trips to the Department of Foreign Affairs offices, to interactive problem solving, to model UN debates.

SAP endeavours to explore issues in fun, original and engaging ways, which will leave you questioning the way that you perceive the world that you live in. Whether you have participated in UN Youth events before, or are entirely new to the organization, SAP is a great way to become better acquainted with the other amazing opportunities offered by UN Youth QLD, to express your opinions and to meet like-minded and passionate people from across Queensland.
