What do you mean by a workshop?

Workshops are activity-based discussion groups, which are led by experienced UN Youth facilitators. We start with an introduction game, to put the students at ease with their peers and facilitators. The workshop then has two or three mini-activities, which might ask students to answer questions, work together to solve problems or debate a given point of view. They are designed to let students come to their own conclusions on issues that they care about.

What do you mean by Model UN Debating (MUN)?

In model UN debating (MUN), students are assigned a particular country and asked to debate a mock UN resolution from that country’s perspective. MUN develops confidence and public speaking skills. Delegates must multitask – passing notes to other countries, preparing their own speech and considering the speeches of other students. It takes approximately an hour to debate one resolution. For students who have never participated in MUN before, we also run a short half-hour session on how to MUN.

If I’m a student, can I reach out to my school?
