Our Young Leaders Summits are one day conferences held all across Australia. They focus on a particular issue, and aim to deal with it with the depth and nuance they deserve.

UN Youth Australia aims to allow young people to explore and engage with the most important issues facing our world.

Our Young Leader Summits are designed to educate and empower young people to explore and engage with prevalent political and social justice issues. They focus on a wide range of topics that young people are interested in, from gender to geopolitics.

Summits equip participants with the knowledge and skills to become change-makers in their communities and to be able to contribute meaningfully and insightfully to current political discourse.

Our next summit:

Take part in series of interactive workshops intertwined with expert guest speakers from the university, government, and the private sector.

Our Summit for 2023 is the Sustainability Summit!

Two summits will run in the North and South of Adelaide, one week apart, and delivering the exact same content so more South Australian youth can get involved!

You will have the opportunity to take part in a number of interactive and topical workshops on the role that technology can (and is!) playing in helping society pursue a sustainable future.

The Northern Summit will be hosted at the Stretton Centre, the premier innovation hub in Adelaide’s North on the 18th of August.

The Southern Summit will be located in Australia’s first ever innovation district, Tonsley Innovation District the following week on the 25th of August.

From cutting edge research, to effective government policy, you will explore the diverse range of issues that weigh on our decision-makers and innovators.

Join like-minded, passionate young people at UN Youth SA’s Sustainability Summit!
