QLD Summit 1 – Governance | UN Youth Australia

Event Information

WHEN: Sunday 3rd of April 2022 from 9 AM to 3 PM
WHERE: Brisbane CBD, Exact Location TBD
REGISTRATION COSTS: $35 per person.

We will comply with all government COVID-19 restrictions and requirements.

As such all delegates aged over 16 will be required to have been vaccinated with at least a double dose. Evidence of this vaccination will need to be provided on arrival to the event, by means of showing us a copy of a vaccine certificate.

All delegates will be updated and informed if there are changes to vaccine requirements for this event.

About Summit 1

Summit 1 will be a day event revolving around Governance where passionate students in Years 9 – 12 will have the unique opportunity to meet like-minded people.

The summit will centre on understanding and discussing the role of governance in society and systems of government. Furthermore, the conference will have a particular focus on governance within Australia in reference to the upcoming federal election. Delegates will also have the opportunity to apply their knowledge, use negotiation tactics to resolve a crisis situation that has seen Australia’s government fracture.
