What will this Young Leaders Summit be about?
Are you a young person who is passionate about advocacy, politics, or social justice?
This event will be an exciting opportunity to:
- Explore Australia’s history and consider our nation’s future
- Engage in discussion with your peers and make new friends
- Listen to guest speakers share their experiences as young leaders
Together, we will learn about:
- Indigenous human rights
- Australia’s upcoming referendum on the Voice to Parliament
- The history of referendums
- The Uluru Statement from the Heart
- The process of reconciliation
UN Youth WA encourages all young people to engage in the referendum process, in a respectful way. We especially encourage young people who are not yet able to vote, to listen, learn, & engage in these important conversations about our future.
