REGISTRATIONS FOR JLS 2022 HAVE NOW CLOSED!
Are you in Years 7 – 8 and passionate about making change in your community? Come to Junior Leadership Weekend 2022!
In September 2022, more than 100 students from across NSW will come together to take part in Junior Leadership Summit. You will learn about leadership, diplomacy and advocacy in the context of digital media. You will form connections and friendships with a diverse array of students and work with them to deliver change in your local communities and beyond.
What’s Involved?
Junior Leadership Summit is a two-day non-residential conference. Delegates will participate in thematic workshops based around a set theme and will enhance their communication, advocacy and leadership skills through structured skills workshops. Assisting the development of these skills will be influential and inspiring guest speakers who will share their wisdom with you. By the end of the weekend, delegates will come home with an insightful understanding of the pre-set topic and will be more confident in their ability to create meaningful social change in their local communities and eventually in the broader world. Delegates will also have a whole lot of fun with activities and will make lots of new friends.
Join us at JLS 2022, so that you can better understand the social and political debates going on around you locally, nationally and internationally. We would love to have you along to actively contribute your own informed beliefs and ideas!
