Crisis Point is a full-day event for students in years 9 to 12 entirely packed full of global, political and ethical dilemmas.
In an Interactive Problem Solving activity (IPS), delegates are placed in the security cabinets of nations involved in a global conflict and given the task of resolving the issue. Meanwhile, the Crisis Master passes information between each cabinet as the issue continues to grow in complexity.
IPS’s are designed to improve delegates’ critical thinking skills and decision making when dealing with international disputes of the highest order. Amongst the chaos, students can begin to gain a greater understanding of the complexities that global conflicts hold.
