Crisis Point Victoria brings together Year 9 to 12 students from across Victoria for a day of interactive problem-solving activities centred around diplomatic dilemmas. Join us on the 29th of April to solve pertinent global security threats through teamwork, negotiation and compromise. This event is a fantastic way to hone your speaking and negotiating skills, while learning more about international relations and global issues in a casual setting.
Delegates will be split into various cabinets representing state or federal governments, international organisations, local community groups or the media, all of whom are involved in a global task. Each cabinet must act to address to the crisis, ever-developing as other cabinets interfere with their plans. Crisis Point utilises digital resources to convey new developments in real-time, and allow media cabinets to make releases directly to other cabinets, complete with news articles, comments and even tweets.
+ Hone your negotiation, critical thinking and public speaking skills
+ Learn more about current issues in international relations
+ Meet like-minded peers in a friendly, social environment
Crisis Point is open to all Victorian students in Years 9 to 12 who have an interest in, or would like to learn more about, contemporary global affairs. This event is suitable for students of all levels of experience!
