UN Youth Australia is run entirely by volunteers. We receive little sponsorship and have no paid staff. If paid at minimum wage, our volunteers donate over $2.7 million to educating young Australians.

With donor funding we will be able to access Australia‘s most remote communities, offer scholarships for disadvantaged students, and upskill our volunteers to deliver greater impact.
Australia‘s regional communities have substantially less access to opportunities that take students beyond the classroom. We want to reach them, but access is difficult.
Your help lets us send volunteers out to these areas to run programs.
Cost should never be a barrier for access to education. We always run our programs as cost-effectively as possible, but sometimes it can still be too much.
We need your help to fund scholarships for disadvantaged students who can‘t afford to come along to our programs.
All of our volunteers are under the age of 25, on average they give up 6.5 hours a week to work for us.
We want to make sure their time is spent in the most effective way possible by offering upskilling and training in education, logistics and administration to grow our capacity.
