UNstories_Utube Banner copyUNStories is a monthly video series tailored for the web, a spin-off of the award-winning UN in Action programme.  Approximately 2 minutes in length and available in the six official languages of the United Nations, these stories highlight and build awareness of the work of the UN globally and make for ideal web content for embedding, posting and sharing on multimedia platforms. The UN Television Features team came up with the concept of UNStories as a response to advancements in digital media- alongside its broadcast programming, it was agreed that there was a need and a place for short web videos which can be easily shared across several platforms and devices. These stories cover everything from economic and social development to climate change, human rights to disaster relief, peace and security to global health; allowing our audiences to travel the world in a matter of minutes to learn about the challenges facing our planet- and what’s being done to face these challenges.
