By · 15 January, 2015 · Features, News, Youth Representative

Our amazing 2014 Youth Representative to the UN, Laura John, has this week released her final report.

It comes at the end of a phenomenal year including a five-month, nation-wide Listening Tour and her time representing young Australians with the Australian Mission to the UN in New York City.

“It has been an honour to represent the diversity and passion of Australia’s young people,” says Laura.

“This past year has been the most challenging, enriching and rewarding experience of my life. The title of this report: ‘Catching Dreams, Creating Change’ reflects this journey.”

Laura’s report contains the stories, big dreams and concerns shared with her from around the country. It also outlines fifteen key policy recommendations to tackle the issues confronting our generation.

UN Youth Australia would like to congratulate Laura on her outstanding tenure as Youth Representative. Her report has been more than a year in the making and is the product of an extraordinary amount of work, vision and passion for supporting Young Australians.

It’s an incredible document. Read it here!
