By · 01 April, 2014 · News

Do you want to know more about the globe’s most urgent topics? Keen to gain the skills and inspiration you need to be an agent for change on the issues you care about? Are you down to meet  like-minded young people and have FUN times?

What is the Student Ambassadors Program?

UPDATE: Our first meeting will be on April 27th, 5pm-6pmRegister your interest here!

Running from April to November 2014, our Student Ambassadors Program is our year-long mentoring program for Year 10-12 students.

Through structured monthly meetings and through working personally with our facilitators, you’ll gain experience in:

  • Leadership: explore what it means to be a leader, and develop the skills to lead in your community and school.
  • Action: learn about issues important to the global community, and develop the skills you need to spread the word on issues you’re passionate about.
  • Community: work with other like-minded young people from around the state, and have fun while you’re at it!

How do I get involved?

Meetings are held once a month, with a combination of guest speakers, hands-on learning and lots of fun! You don’t need any prior experience or knowledge of international affairs – new members are always welcome. Plus, the full year’s registration is only $10!
