Wanted – Student Ambassadors Program Coordinator! [CLOSED]

UN Youth South Australia is on the hunt for a talented, enthusiastic volunteer to lead one of our most intimate and engaging student-mentoring programs – could that be you?

Open Young Eyes to the World

Running from April to November 2014, the Student Ambassadors Program is UN Youth SA’s year-long mentorship program for students in Year 10-12Our only long-term project, the Program aims to:

  • Educate  students about the UN and the international world,
  • Inspire  them to take action on the issues they care about, and
  • Equip  them with the skills they need to make that action count!

As SAP Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for planning and leading the program of monthly meetings around which the Program is structured, as well as managing a team of volunteer mentors to provide support for delegates.

Along the way, you’ll be working with one of Australia’s leading youth-run NGOs, and have a chance to learn management and organisational skills valuable across the youth sector. No formal experience is necessary – just a passion for working with young people!
