UN Youth Representative 2014 Applications Open!

By · 26 August, 2013 · News

UN Youth Australia is looking for the Australian Youth Representative to the United Nations for 2014. This isn’t your everyday opportunity.

The Youth Representative will work with thousands of young people across the country listening to their views on key issues. They will be their voice –  speaking to decision makers, the media and the United Nations in New York as a member of the Australian Delegation.

From day one they will be backed by UN Youth Australia’s incredible network and will have the opportunity to learn from Australia’s best young educators and organisers. The project is their own and their impact could be phenomenal.

Can you see yourself doing this in 2014?

Check out the position description and apply online. Applications close October 1.

For past representatives like Dan Ryan, Benson Saulo & Chris Varney the role has lead to ongoing leadership opportunities across the country.

We all believe in the power of young people to make a difference and you, or someone you know, could be the one driving it in 2014.
