Registration Open for Victorian Conference!

By · 05 December, 2012 · News

Registration has opened for the Victorian Conference, to be held in Melbourne and Bendigo in March 2013.

The theme of both conferences is I Have A Dream. Based on Martin Luther King’s iconic oration, 50 years old next year, this theme will encourage students to consider the many and varied forms of leadership, and ask whether it exists today, and if not, what to do about it.

The Melbourne Conference will be held on the Labour Day weekend (March 8-11) and the Bendigo Conference two weeks later (March 22-24). Both conferences will feature special guest speakers, workshops, leadership training, Model United Nations activities, and the opportunity to meet peers from across the state.

The cost of both conferences has been reduced for early birds – $165 covers all accommodation, food, and materials for the duration of the conference, but only until February 15! Registration closes the day before each conference. Both conferences will cover substantially the same material, so students should choose the event closest to them.

Both conferences are run by a team of youth volunteers. For more information on the Melbourne Conference, contact Convenor James Wong; for the Bendigo Conference, contact Jimmy Lavender.
